Standardized machines

The working range of the standardized machine series varies from tube diameter 1 to 600 mm. All the metals which are principally used nowadays can be machined. The machines are planned to meet the requirements of a flexible production planning. They were developed by Ebm and are built in house on the Ebm shop floor.

The classes of Ebm machine program is available in various stages of Expansion – from Manually to fully automatic

Radial tube end forming machine

Line "IO"

IO machines are  applicable to manipulate tube ends:

  • Expanding
  • Notching
  • Pressing
  • Bending
  • Reducing
  • Calibrating
  • Tapering
  • Trimming
  • Perforating
  • Punching
  • Beading

Line "ECOTEC"

ECOTEC machines are  applicable to manipulate tube ends:

Radial tube end forming machine

Line "TubeMax"

TubeMax is a tight machine, equipped with an ergonomic tool change system.  Compared to the IO-machine the TubeMax provides only one forming axis. Therefore less operations are possible:

  • Expanding
  • Reducing
  • Slotting

The TubeMax is a low-cost solution especially for tryout and prototyping.

Hydroforming (IHU)

Line "HF"

Machines of the type “HF” can be used to form rotation-symmetrically constructed parts with straight center line, e.g. corrugated tubes.

During hydroforming the tube is formed with a simultanious axial mechanical force in the direction of the tube length and water pressure in the inside of the tube.

Bending operations preferably will follow the hydroforming process.

Tube cutting machine

Line "TC"

The TC-machines can be used to cut of straight or bended tubes.

They use the dual-blade shearing method to cut mill length tubes. Each cut is performed in two mechanically synchronized steps. The first step is an horizontal cut that shaves approximately 80 % of the wall thickness of the tube. The second step is a vertical cut which shears through the tube.

Tube rolling and separating machine

Line "TRC"

The TRC machines can be used for cutting and rollforming of a contour with effective direction from inside to outside

It is poosible to operate with straight and bended tubes.

Tube separating machine

Line "TEC"

TEC machines can be used to cut of the end of the tube with cutting direction from inside to outside.

The machines are suited to machine comparatively big tubes and big wall thicknesses such as for angular cuttings and oval tubes.
